I just received a large shipment of parts today. I'm hoping the rest come in tomorrow. Still need to pick up some new speakers, yellow top battery, switches, inline fuses, and some other misc parts, but I'm looking forward to this weekend's work. |

Update: After 6 hours of work I have the front and rear bumpers on, the winch mounted and wired up, and one sliced knuckle. This evening I'm installing new speakers, replacing the coil rail, plugs, and maybe installing a new valve cover gasket. Pics will come a bit later. I'm taking a break right now. |

I know...I'm slacking. The lift will go on tomorrow afternoon. I need the Jeep driveable tomorrow morning to pick up a few odds and ends parts, get the new shoes put on (hopefully they're in), and attend a video conference call at work (yeah, vacation day and I still have to go in to work). On the plus side I was able to get all the speakers installed. The sound is awesome now and the bass has a nice kick to it. Pics will be posted tomorrow. Tomorrow's Jeeps plans are: -Install coil rail -Install plugs -Tires installed -Install RB1 navigation radio -Install lift Saturday's tentative plans: -Alignment -Replace rear main seal (may get it professionally done due to the mess) Sunday's tentative plans: -Change diff fluids, transfer case, and transmission -Install skids Monday's tentative plans: -Drop TJ off at Trailquest for custom rear driveshaft fitting |

I think I've finally settled down with this Jeep. It has everything I could want or soon will. I'd love to own my own Jeep shop or work on Jeeps, but if it were my job it might suck the fun right out of modifying Jeeps. I'll stick to IT work and leave the fab shop work to Trailquest. |

now thats funny not sure where that question comes from but still funny But think about it, it is that easy tons of places make things for the Wrangler any more so its very easy to build one no matter where you live or what your skill level is you can build one Any small or big shop seems to know how to lift one, but how many times over the years has someone posted for example that they took the Liberty to a 4WD shop to do a lift and they didn't know how to do it? |

Geez people! It was just a thought and today I learned the payoff on my Jeep. Wasn't what I thought it was. BUT since I've started tinkering with the Liberty more and more. I've grown to like it more and thought twice of giving it up. I've even thought about buying another liberty to play with if i could get my hands on a decent renegade liberty..oh my! Thumbs up on the picture... |
