Congratulations!! This is a huge win for Ohio gun owners, one step closer to Constitutional carry! Now if only we could get MI legislators off their arses and repeal those darn "pistol free zones", aka criminal empowerment zones! Image

ok.. in PA we used to not be allowed to carry where they sold alcohol but now that has changed... and we can carry into bars/restaurants. Which is nice because if you were in a bad part of town earlier in the day and then your going to say... applebee's for dinner you dont have to worry about it. it's not only 'bars'. Also if a bar owner does not want CCW permit holders to carry he/she could post a 'no guns' sign and the permit holder would have to listen to it.

In ohio, if you have ANY alcohol in your system it's illegal to carry a firearm... you are technically not even allowed to have it in your vehicle if you have had ANY alcohol.

bad guys are going to carry a gun whether it says 'no guns' or you can legally take a gun into a bar or not. So why should honest CCW permit holders be so restricted. After all to get a CCW permit in Ohio you have to take a NRA safety/personal protection/shooting class to get your permit... so everyone that has one has been educated.
