Wanted John Deere or Cub Cadet lawn Tractor used

Id probably take a wheel horse over a cub. My dad had a cub back in the 80s. And it was nothing but trouble.

Did you see this one? 1976 John Deere 214 Lawn Tractor (Lyons) $1500

Don't know how much my opinion will will count, but when we did live on the farm we had four lawn tractors All from early 80's late 70's
2 fords
1 cub cadet
1 wheel horse

the Cub was always down, it was a hydrostat, and always had problems
I always chose the wheel horse, I think it mowed the nicest and seemed to need the least amount of maintanence needeed

the old fords we basically used to mow the barn yard we were real hard on them I can't even remeber what the count was for how many times we had to reweld the deck back onto it mounts

Yeah, i am still trying to convince the wife I need that one....haven't been successful yet.
