To all that have participated in the Scenic Road Rallies with those folks in Indiana: What did you think of the Devil's Staircase Run? I think I'd like to go to this on in November.

Or should I wait till a more interesting one comes available (Angela's Revenge, etc)?

It wasn't bad, but only off road maybe 15% of the trip, but did have some cool sites to stop and look at and the Tahoe sounded cool gettin revved in the long tunnel  . If you want to do dirt road and creeks, Angelas is definitely the best. I may try to hit both if I can get some parts replaced on Tahoe soon.

I agree with Tahoe, it isn't a bad ride. The route isn't bad but there's a lot of backtracking my passengers and I noticed. I would consider going if we can get a group of us interested in going. I'm game if you all are game! I already hit up the Angela's Revenge which is the best, and Malachi's Trap which I would say is a close second, so why not hit up the last 4x4 rally of the season
It's worth going to that is for sure :JEEPIN:

I'm 50/50 at this point. Heck, I think a light trail ride in the DBNF would be cool.

Come on down! There's plenty of great trails in the DBNF. My step dad is a retired KY Game Warden and knows every road like the back of his hand. The ones in our area that is. He said any road is game if there's not a gate up. There was this one road with a DEEP mud hole, but we didn't have a second vehicle and I was too chicken to do it.

Yeah I always had fun on the Livingston trips. Even though I'm not taking my truck down 909 or Falls City rd, there are a lot of fun roads in the area to play on.

The wife and I went on Malachi's Trap, thanks to reading a post from redkj04 or we would not have known about Scenic Road Rallys. I had fun but, my wife had a blast because she drove.

You plan on attending this one in November?
