Still hoping to make it, but not positive yet.

Anyone know anything about fixing Ford Escapes? My wife's Escape is having a hard time starting. Was going to take it in for a tune up but the garage said it would be any where from $400 to over $1000 depending on if it just needed a tune up or a tune up and replacing all 6 coil packs.

I'm not worried about changing 4 of the 6 coil packs, but from what I've been finding, on the back 2 I'd have to remove the manifold or something to get at them and that's where I'm kind if nervous. But I guess the main question is does anyone have experience with this problem. I know there's other members here that their wife has an Escape and was wondering what the fix was before I started taking things apart and replacing items I didn't need to.

I do think I found a Escape forum (believe it or not they do exist!) that might be useful to me. But I trust people here better.

Great, I am going to try and clean up the garage some today so we can get the KK all the way inside, right now there are things everywhere.

Should I bring my trailer to haul off Larry's.... er, I mean, some of the extra stuff laying around the garage?! :lol:

Hart has to work tonight so we need to get started early so he can go howm to bed

Everyone else come on and don't think we need anything else. Just bring whatever you want to drink, we'll get some Pizza at lunch time.

Tom and I are going to put on a very dangerous demonstration, so if anybody cross's the yellow safety line and looses limb or life, Mudds Garage or who ever or what ever caused loss of life or limb is not held responsible :shock:

Further more if a tool is moved from a set position some one using it has put it and it "some how " moves location, loss of limb will follow :twisted:

Well I think that about covers it :jester:
