Just got back in. Will post my pics from today in a while, they're still being uploaded from the camera to the computer, then to photobucket, then here. Was a good day! It was nice to meet Ted, Sean150 stopped by for a while and Nick showed up too.
Got the Backbone all installed with almost no problem, the time consuming part was cutting and trimming the front bumper cover and making it fit nice and snug and look good! :BANANA:

EASY! CAREFUL!! WATCHOUT!!!! OOHHHHHHHH MAAAAAAAANNNNN!! nawww just kidding!!

Sean150 on one end, Tommudd on the other, Ted15 cutting away, KJWildman behind the camera and Nick with his hands in his pockets!! :goink:

Backbone installed and bumper all cut! :BANANA:

Just put all the plastic back on and it's done!!!

It was good to see Tom again and to meet everyone that came out. It was a lot of work but very satisfying. Thanks for the help guys and thanks Tom for opening up mudds garage. And thanks for taking pics (I forgot my camera :banghead:

And wouldn't ya know it, on the way home, my left wheel bearing failed :cry:

Glad it's still under warranty. Just a pain.

I was so late to this, that everyone left by the time I got there... only Tom was there. :lol:

Oh well. It would have been cool to see two Deep Water Blue KKs in Tom's driveway. Maybe someday.... would have been like a hostile takeover!

Thats what I was hoping for were two KKs, and the same color, in the driveway, both lifted both looking good.
Told Ted yesterday the KKs are starting to grow on me some

Is the knucklebone on the market or still a prototype? I don't see it on Detour's site. Can you shed some info on it?

From what I understand, mine is a production prototype so I would have to say that if it's not yet on the market, it will be. Their number (from the website) is (606) 845-0024 or detoursusa.com. I'm sure they can answer your questions better than I can.
