On a nicer note it looks good john. :JEEPIN:

Mudd that paint looks sharp! Anything special I need to do to mine before I paint it? The Arb paint is cracking and fading and it has some rust. :(

I just painted the front edge of it, top is still stock
But I did clay bar it and wax it before he left.
It has many marks from tools being gently laid upon her over the years while doing tuneups, pil changes, suspension swaps etc Missing her already :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

If the powder coating has rust under it the only way is to remove all of it and start from bare steel

well my sand blaster has been getting a workout lately...might as well add a bumper to the list...

I had 3 people tell me they wouldn't even touch my bumper when trying to find someone to sand blast it last year. All 3 told me with the powder coating on it, it would generate too much heat and could warp the metal when trying to get it off .

All were professional shops that only does sandblasting, also use soda, beadblasting etc
none wanted to do it
