I was reading the list and was like come on now, they have trackers etc but no KJs/KKs etc ? I mean they could of had a line for "other Jeeps" so if you want to take a other type you can't go since that is a requirement to list a model

I wondered where those were lol. Toss em out, they were readers not prescription.

When they were working on my...uh..Jeep(?), they kept referring to it as a KJ. At the very least learn the difference between the models, @$$ hats.

I actually traded in my '96 Tracker on my Liberty. I bought it new, paid cash, and it was a fairly good ride. It even came with factory skid plates, etc.

Having said that, it was nowhere near the offroad vehicle that my stock Liberty is. I was happy when it made it over the Cleveland potholes.

Wish I'd have known that last May when I got the Liberty - I'd hate to tell you how little I got on the trade-in. :(

Oh don't get me totally wrong on the whole Tracker thing. I did see a few down in AZ that would blow anyone's mind that has never seen one. But then again anyone can dump $20,000+ into just about anything to make it wild.
I know a guy at work that just traded his old one for a case of beer and some other fine home brewed concoction. :ROTFL:

I wasn't sticking up for the Tracker as much as I was pointing out that even with some of the factory offroad stuff on there it wasn't as capable as a stock Liberty. I never did anything that amounted to real "offroading" in it, but it at least got me through a few pretty significant snowfalls here in the Cleveland area and it never, ever left me stuck. A lot of the Cleveland area is pretty close to being "offroad", even if it's technically been paved at some point. :SOMBRERO:

I wouldn't mind my KK being called a KJ. I mean really, a squared off body and a new interior (barely, look at the two interiors to see what I mean, layout, vent locations, etc...)? That's pretty much all they did. Yeah there were other changes, but there's nothing seriously different between the two besides a much stronger front differential.

Tom knows why I wouldn't mind. ;)
