Too bad there aren't any 4.10 axles out there for KK's because they never came with 4-cylinder engines. :ALONE:


Drives great, big difference on the mountains. 21.28 mpg coming home despite a few issues that might have hurt mileage.

Wow, thanks for letting me know, John! I just got about 16 mpg on that same stretch of highway a couple of weeks ago. If I could get 5 mpg back like you just did, that's like a 30% increase in efficiency. Burning 25-30% less gas, a regear wouldn't take too long to pay for itself. Not to mention less wear and tear on the driveline.

It was about a 3.5mpg increase over what I had going out. But that was with the rear axle , front diff and other stuff inside the Jeep. I had to be hauling an extra 500 lbs going out.
