I'm still planning to go but I'm not sure my rear axle will be :furious:
I had an appointment Tuesday. Took off work and when I called he told me he was three days behind. The guy actually expected me to drop it off and leave it there.
Anyone know a good axle shop in the akron area?

any idea as to what time we're going to be kicking off? got the new job, so i'll be in athens. my supposed schedule is 2-10 so i can come out for a bit in the morning if theres enough time. it'll be my first week down there at the new job so i won't be able to request the whole day, but i'm down to meet up in the morning both days.

I don't like to waste day light. I'd rather start early and finish early if needed than start late and get stuck in the woods till midnight because of some unforseen break.

Keep this going have a couple of others on Facebook that have expressed a possible desire to come out and enjoy the beautiful backroads of Ohio.

NOW it seems my wife and son may just be arriving sometime just before Fathers Day
So we'll see if I can get away, but with over 3000 going out for airfare, well ................

It looks like I'll be getting my rear end fixed next week, hopefully. I'm hopeful that it's a bearing and not something more.

Unbelievable, they didn't schedule me for a lift, forgot what was wrong and did the troubleshooting procedure over again. We won't charge for the service, right , I paid last time :banghead:

I was assured that I will have a lift available next Tuesday when the diff guy gets back from vacation. :5SHOTS:

Still should be done in time

Man that is just plain crazy, you would think someone there would know your name well enough by now to say " get it right for this guy "

hey tom/donnie anyone else give some input... i have a set of moabs with 245/75 mt-r's in my parents garage. what is your recommendation for the trip down south... use the stockers and have more suspension travel? or throw the 245's on and risk ripping a flare and stuff them in? i'll get a measurement for you guys center of the wheel to the flare after work, but i'm not going to have time to lift the jeep before we go out...i'm 99% sure i wont at least with the move and starting the new job. let me know your thoughts

but in other news, bought john3:17's boiler proto steel gas skid so my under will be fully skidded for the trip!

You should be able to go anywhere you need to on the stock ones.
