That's exactly in intention of "The Garage". Ironically, I was wondering if we'd still meet at your place had it sold. I guess congrats are in order here (for your parents).

Do any of you who have upgraded your sound in the KJ have an old, stock passenger-side door speaker lying around somewhere? I think mine is losing it's low end... starting to get crackly. :(

I'll upgrade to a better set eventually, but money has to go elsewhere first.

yep, at the lift party, when we finish mine, I will tackle your passenger door and give you a speaker :) then I'll help with your lift, then TOM with his precious fancy speakers :)

I'll have 3 stockers you can have after I put my "fancy speakers" in.
I don't know if they're better than what you have but they're the
premium sound ones.

Well since we're in the Garage tonight -

Okay so I found a '08 Rubicon I really like. Image

Image

Image

The only thing wrong with it, is the dented bumper. It has 11,800 miles and the interior is absolutely mint. As for options, it's got everything.

So after talking to the dealer, I'm sitting here trying to decide if I want a car payment regardless of the fact I really, really... like this Jeep.

Come to think of it... Will I be banned from LOST JEEPS Illinois if I show up at the next m&g in this?

If it were a darker green, it would be better.... However, that thing is sexy :P

I've always like the Rescue Green but I do agree the dark green (especially on the new JK's) is nice too. It has what I think a 2" Skyjacker lift. And Don (pixeldecal) believes those are the upgraded 33" BFG's. It has Husky liners, front, rear (seat) and cargo area. After inspecting the interior, I couldn't find a stain or scuff mark anywhere. It's a automatic, has power windows (which I never knew was available on a Wrangler) and the navigation system too.

As for the bumper, I would replace both with aftermarket anyway.

Decisions, Decisions....

I'm thinking I would trade-in the KJ. I like my KJ, but I also like the idea of going topless.

Well, if you do trade it in, you are going to be required to do a build thread on it :P You will always be welcome in CO if LOST JEEPS Illinois drops you like a bad habit

No, we would not reject oddball for the JK, but I know everyone would hate me for doing this

Image

only because of 2 reasons

1. It can fit nitto mud grapplers
2. I would still get to keep my KJ, this would be a college present :)[/quote]
