My KJ has been sitting in my garage now for a 1 1/2 weeks :(

RL bumper has been off the jeep now for more than a week getting stripped and line-x applied. While it was off, I finally got around to changing the fuel float arm that I forgot to change when I installed the In-tank fuel pump a year ago.

Took 2 extra days for the stripping, and the Bartlett Line-x dealer was supposed to have it ready for me on Monday. I hope its ready by tomorrow.

Are you going to Steve's for the M&G on the 29th?
I want to get another look at your horn setup.
I have some of these to install.

you will find a lot more this summer if you still want the JK

the FJ of my dreams was sold about a month ago, all blacked out, 33/10.5/R15 All terrains on it (BFG of course) and a OME lift kit...only for a whopping $13,550!!!

1 thing i thought was weird, 3 windshield wipers lol

I really do like my KJ. Especially the interior space. I may look at new Rubicon's after the first of the year.

good idea :) and yea, the KJ is amazing for interior, but for me being freakishly tall, the back seats are real tiny, but then again, im the one putting my friends back there haha

So...a great debate is raging in my head. I have this thumping noise that is coming from the front end (I think??). It is most noticeable in the morning after the jeep has been sitting all night. The debate is whether or not to bite the bullet and get new CVs. I'm not even sure it is the CVs - but they are original and the jeep has >140K miles on it.

:? :? :?

Any words of wisdom???

Thanks for the link. I was getting the "popping" at full turn when we were out West last month. I'm going to guess it would still do it - I've been trying to avoid full turns so I don't make things worse.
Guess I'll try to do some more checking...

Buster Brown was lazy yesterday. Our doorbell doesn't work
(out of order on it), so instead of knocking, he writes up a
"tried to deliver/no one home" sticker and sticks it on the
door. Speakers need to be signed for, but my wife and 2
dogs didn't "hear" him knock? I don't think so. :x  :x

My "Brown" leaves stuff all the time at the front door. He never leaves a delivery attempt notice.

Usually he does....cigars for an example, but the shipper sent
them "signature required".

ordered 4 treadwright Mud Terrains, asked for the Wrangler MTR casing, hope to get them fairly soon after this saturday so I can mount and balance them.

how much is balancing at a place usually since Jayme has a tire mounting thing, I know Aaron would not mind playing with fire again :)

Mounting 4 tires w/balance and an alignment cost me $130 at Sears
