I will never $*#&^ing! recommend these Pontiac GTP hood louvers to anyone.

Got the RH side done, will finish the LH side tomorrow.

Did you do the cutting or did you make someone else do it?

I did it. I went to Harbor Freight and bought a Chicago Tools "body saw" and that thing is a piece of crap. I've gone through 8 blades just to cut one side. I need to go back and get a couple more spare boxes of blades. But basically the louvers are a pita getting them to mount flush in the hood. I'm using screws with washer's & "Black Jack" roof cement.

I'll post pics when I'm done.

Dang, Chris (03CDKJ) went through two dremels and 100 little cutters to do his "other type" of louvers, then you had problems.....I used a 10 year old jig saw, a metal cutting blade...yes one blade is all it took. Mine cut real easy, actually took longer to tape the hood than cut them out! Maybe I should of came to Chicago!

They look good though!

So I hope everyone had a good holiday weekend! I took the boat out today with a few guests. Had a fun time. Soon it will be time to dry dock. :(

My son is home, first time in about 7 months. He just returned from a 6 month cruise of the Mediterranean and Black seas. Short visit, but I get to drive with him back to Norfolk next weekend :D

Not going to make the meet and greet next weekend. :(

That's great you were able to see your son this weekend.

It's suppose to rain here all next weekend.

I wish we could go, too... :(

Good luck Steve! Baylor's a good school all-around.

I think we might be getting a beardie next month! :D
A friend of mine from WI is coming down in October. We're going to Scott Smith's All Animal Expo at the DuPage Cty fairgrounds to see what they have available.

I played for 3 years at high school 2 being varsity...reason being why he wants me to play, I'm a lefty. So either 1st base or pitch again (and ruin my arm lol)

He was just a scout so he knows people there at Baylor, but I highly doubt I'll even play there after this year at community, I kinda dont want to, but we shall see once season starts in march :)

Yes you did. I didn't realize it was you until the moment I passed you sitting at that light. Otherwise I would have waved! I was on my way to meet a friend for lunch in Crystal Lake, and that road construction was making me late.

I'll try to check-in here later, otherwise see you in Kenosha! :D

Received my LOST JEEPS Trail Rated Edition badge from Don @ Pixel on Friday. Really nice looking. Now I'm debating where (and on what) to install it?

BTW; Are there any other active LOST Illinois member's who have Jeeps other than KJ's or KK's?
( I realize Don has a Wrangler, and callaway is building a CJ ).

I've got mine on the tailgate above the 3.7L badge. (I posted a pic in the "What did you do to your jeep..." thread.

Surgery?!?!? What did I miss???? Glad you're doing ok, though, Jayme.

Not much going on here...still trying to figure out where we're going to go later this month. :? We need a weekend away from everyone and everything...

Steve - did Greg Olsen end up buying the house???
