Post subject:  Vote for Illinois President

Please take a few minutes to cast your vote for the Lost Illinois President.

The President will be the figurehead of the Illinois group and will be responsible for organizing events, keeping the group up to date, updating the calendar/map, and taking care of figurative fires that might arise within the group.

Please remember this is not a 'high school popularity contest' - Vote accordingly as to who you think would do the best job.

This poll will run for 1.5 weeks - at that time the one with the most votes will be determined the winner of the poll and the Illinois group President.

Poll participants are listed in alphabetical order.

I would suggest whoever voted for me wasted a vote. So I recommend you either vote again from a computer with another IP address, or PM Inc and see if he can erase your vote, enabling you to vote again. If not, then maybe Inc could cast a vote on your behalf. Just my thoughts.

If it comes within 1 vote at the end of the polling date then you'd have a problem. If not, which so far it doesn't look like it will, then that one voter, whoever it was can let me know and I'll post the tie breaker. That person can let me know now as well, I'll keep their name confidential either way, and post up another vote for whoever they want to change to. If that doesn't work then a new poll will need to be created cause I can't edit one that has started. Won't let me cheat.

OK folks, in response to Oddballs' posts above I am going to remove his name from the poll. To whoever voted for him, this may allow you to vote again in the poll - if not, contact myself or Inc to get a proxy vote cast.

Thanks for your understanding,

Put another vote down for Callaway. The Oddball voter can't vote twice and wants their vote to go for him.

Looks like a typical Illinois election - 15 registered; 16 votes

I'm interested to know why this poll has 18 votes cast while the vp poll only has 14....

Inc; can't you do it on their behalf? that way is actually registers. just a thought.

What, are you too young to recall the dead have voted in Chicago since the original Daley Machine?

IMHO, the presidential election was a runaway before the votes were questioned.

If this were federal election, you'd all be calling Yellocoyote to concede right about now.

Don't screw this up.

But seriously, from what I saw, you were an excellent candidate for the position. It's all fun and good times. Hard to screw that up. :)
