not related to our jeeps, but being from illinois, i thoguht i should start this... How about them Hawks...Bulls? 2 teams in playoffs that have not been there in awhile GO HAWKS!!! GO BULLS! |

GO HAWKS!!!! Been a Hawks fan since I can remember. Pulling for the Bulls, too - it is nice to have TWO Chicago teams in the playoffs. (Great Bulls game today - double OT win!!!!) oh, and GO SOX!!!!

loving the hawks as of lately. i gotta say i love the fact that you can knock someone teeth out and only get a 5 min penne. thats what kills me about other sports. some d-bag hits you and another teammate in the face with a 100 mph pitch and you knock the chit out of him and end up getting suspended for a month and fined 20,000 just seems kinda like a witch sport.. i love the sox but the rules are effin stupid. go BEARS! cant wait for oct! ohh yeah gotta love girls vollyball! i dont care what state you play for. |

Actually that penalty is for minor fighting. It's rare you see someone seriously injured. Of course there have been suspensions from the NHL in the past and even an arrest and conviction for aggravated assault by a player during a NHL game. Baseball is my favorite sport but what's really lame about fights in that game is that the majority of players aren't fighters. Watch one and you'll see what I mean. I always thought just once I'd like to see a batter who was thrown at (dangerously near the head), on the next pitch swing away throwing his bat as hard as possible at the pitcher. Of course you'd have to make it look like the bat slipped out of your hands as often happens, but you would be hard pressed to convince everyone that was what actually happened. There was a time when I enjoyed watching girls play beach volleyball.

Being a hockey player my whole life of 18 years, I remember a few incidences where players got arrested or huge suspensions was Tye Domi (was in penalty box, got in fight with fan, literally pulled him into the box, Todd Bertuzie checking an Avalanche player from behind, paralyzed him and if you swing at the referee you get tossed and fined) |
