Busse Woods
- entrance on the west side of Arlington Heights Rd, just south of Higgins Rd (Rt. 72).

I work right around the corner from there. I don't think there's
an entrance there. It's on Higgin's, just east of Arl Hts Rd,
right at the overhead bike path.

Or just north of Higgins, on Arl Hts Rd, west side of street is the Elk Preserve. Across from the Chevy dealer.

Click on your map and go to Satellite view.

Just for the record, there is a small preserve off Arlington Heights road but it's just south of Landmeier road.

I haven't been to Busse Woods in years but the one we're now meeting in is infamous. It was actually my favorite preserve of all the preserves at Busse until it was closed (for about 3 or 4 years). Back in the late 70's a notorious motorcycle gang hanged a Forest Preserve Ranger there. Later it was revealed that this was a contract hit on that Ranger.

Anyway I hope the weather is good for us. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone who will be there.
