I think there's enough that people want to get done that we could do it before then. Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment, but yesterday was fun and we got the big stuff out of the way.

This old man's bones are aching this morning. Sis in law just called, she's picking me up from dropping the Jeep at Firestone for the alignment. More later.

Glad to hear that Tom's lift got done. It certainly was a long day. I wish I had been a bit more useful, but I was trying to learn and absorb - I think we may be able to tackle brakes on the Jeep now (Thanks for the quick lesson, Tom!)
A big "thank you" has to go to Bill (wingnuts) for handling Grillmaster duties.
Hopefully, the next wrenchfest will go more smoothly...I'm ready to actually get my hands dirty now. 8)

Sorry I couldn't be there. I sent a brief PM to Jayme telling her I wasn't able to make it because a relative of mine was in a accident during the severe storms up in the Kenosha, Wisconsin area. As of this posting, he is still in ICU.

Anyway I am glad most of you got your lifts and such completed.

Hope everything will be okay. :(

X2 - best wishes that he recovers quickly.

Yellocoyote / Jeepfrog - thanks for your well wishes.

Nice pics - but sitting on that Jeep while Aaron was underneath it isn't exactly smart.

It doesn't look good, but none of my body parts were anywhere that could be crushed should the Jeep fall and I tried really hard to make the Jeep fall before any work was done on it.

Holy Crap! Some took the time to look up
"big, fat, and ugly" in the video dictionary!
(if I can't laugh at myself,....)

Image

Front tires went squeal, squeal, squeal all the way home that night, but after being aligned Sunday, it rides like a dream.
A big thanks to everyone, especially Aaron. I couldn't have done this by myself.

had a good time, glad I could be of assitance by cooking, or rather should I say play with the fire for a little while.

I deffinitly prefer to cook over charcoal anyday over gas, but I got the job done and we all ate.

Lifts look good, Logan, really dig those tires and wheels, and the deal you got on em would make most people think it is too good to be true.

My gas tank skid is on the UPS truck for delivery today, not that it helps me out any, I'm in KY for the week, I wonder if I'll have time this weekend to install? Anyone available?

Ever watch colonial/western shows/movies? Lots of times you'll see a carriage driver jump down, place a step/box on the ground, and help the lady in/out.

Slashes: my friend for this post.
