I've got a jack and stands too, if you need more, as well as heat gun / electrical tools if anybody needs them. I'm going to bring some taps & such in case anyone wants their rusty skidplate holes prepped :D

Bring the stands, mthey dont tak up to much space and its better to have too many than not enough.

Boiler, if you can make this, I look forward to meeting you. Just curious, will you have any prototype skids installed by then?

I may have my prototype belly skid on by then. Trust me, I'm going to try. We hit a snag with our gas tank skid when considering hitches, and its going to take some rework. Tonight and tomorrow we were working on a rack for a guy who needs one FAST before he ships off to Iraq, so we dropped everything for a few days.

Thursday we'll resume work on the belly skid and fitting the gas tank skid a little tighter to the tank in the corners. And yes, it will be light. My last estimation was 32 lbs. I think I read that one of the other aftermarket gas tank skids was like 70 lbs. Ours will be half the weight, thicker, and will transfer loads more easily. We're working hard on it, but I've got to figure out the clearance issue, redesign the parts, order them, and wait for them to come back. I'm goign to try to have them by then but we might miss it by a week. We'll see.

I'm looking forward to meeting you fine folks and showing off my stuff.

Edit: I'll bring my stands. Glad not the jack really, that things like 90 lbs...

Does anyone have an angle drill they can bring? Planning for installation of hockey puck bumpstops too...

I have a 90 degree drill, its cordless and came with my normal cordless. I've never used it. I'm guessing two batteries would give you plenty of juice, as I drilled a 1/2" hole through my roof with the regular one, and I swear it was 1/4" thick where I drilled...

I'll bring it. Do I need to bring bits? My home selection sucks, I'd have to get them from the shop if so.

Ok...is there anything else you guys need that you don't have? I'm bringing my jack stands and that's it ATM. I'm making my list and packing the jeep thursday night, hitting the road Friday morning.

My mom's near Valporaiso Indiana. Spending Friday evening with them and then leaving the wife and kids there, coming over Saturday, going back there sat night, and back to Muncie sunday afternoon.

By the way, I'm sure it's been stated but these are long threads...what time are most of you getting there Saturday?
