We do more in 12 hours than the Army does all day.

Oh and we eat better too! From munchie's & treats, to brats & burgers, to home made potato salad, to farm fresh corn & veggie salad and even "yellow" watermelon.

A lot was accomplished here regarding the Jeeps, and I'm sure those who lifted or repaired are grateful for the support - And as one who didn't have a agenda, I'd like to thank "Ma & Pa Stingn" for their generous hospitality (and driveway!) - and also a big thanks to master chef "Wingnuts" for preparing all the great grub!

Finally, it was nice to meet Boiler and see his new aluminum tank skid and roof rack. For those of you lurking here, if you're considering a roof rack or skid plates, his beefy stuff looks good!

This is Boiler's new aluminum gas tank skid. All I can say is, wow! That thing is well built and looks great.

Sorry I couldn't stay longer. I made it home by 8:30 so she
only chewed on 1 cheek for a while.

Who/when was last one out? It looked like it was getting dark out.

Hey guys. I'm finally home...

Thanks for having me Stingn and thanks for all the support guys. I really had a great time. Was a long day though and I lasted about 30 seconds before collapsing in a heap when I got to my Mom's.

Had to play rewind on my lift - the 2.5" spacers used from steve's old lift are too much for my cv's to take at this point. Old shocks/coils are being put back in for a short time until 1.5" spacers can be purchased.

It's a shame too... my kj looked so badazz... 8) :? :(

I was hoping you made it home okay.

Yeah well, tan & I (aka; Tom & Jerry) were there just to add some class.

I should have gotten a image of Boiler under Yellocoyote's KJ. He did some testing with his skid using her tank & hitch. All three of us were under there at one point. :D

Good shots there oddball & STINGN! It certainly was a looooong day...we finally made it home around 11:40pm. Thanks to all for your help and expertise! Yellocoyote/ihatemybike for all around knowledge and install help; STINGN - for muscle where/when needed (you are the bumpstopp guru!); oddball/mr. fancy pants - for help replacing the brakeline; wingnuts - for once again being our "grillmaster extraordinaire" (and turning a wrench or two where/when needed) and of course, Ma & Pa STINGN for their wonderful hospitality and wicked sense of humor! (Still chuckling about Pa putting the chock back behind STINGN's tire! ) The new UCA's and sway bar links seem to have done the trick - no more wonka-wonka, thumpa-thumpa or popping! We decided we would hold off on the CVs for a while and see how everything "shakes out".

I vote for a non-wrenching meet & greet next time! 8)

I can vouch for Boiler, too - he was helping my hubby on the driver side UCA :)

yellocoyote/ihatemybike came back today, lift party day 2 haha, the left 2 tools here and then we talked about how she had to ditch the lift because the daystar spacers+rancho+ome was too much, but looked awesome

no, it wasn't, it was frustrating because i wanted to go wheel it right then and there!!!

and X2 on just a simple meet and greet, maybe do the forest preserve next time? or something, the only thing that i would do is toms speakers, cause that wont take too long once we got it figured out, which i think we do now

Hey, I attempted to help anyway. I jacked around until it started to get late and then "what can I do"'ed yellowcoyote to death. I actually learned a few things at this one

It was fun. I made it home okay, but it was a little scary. :? Lots of knocking/vibration/shaking because the cv's were at such a huge angle. Aaron was good enough to swap it all back to the old stuff this morning. I've got my eye on some 1.5" spacers to add to the OME/Rancho's and then reinstall in a week or two.

Chip - thanks for your help! I'm glad I could confirm your skid measurements also. :D Looks to be a good product!

I'll have my pics up tomorrow... today has also been a long day... ready to call it done. :P

dido that, i had to add the lower iso to my rear daystar to make it look level, and still sitting at 22 inches and need 2 more to even it out!

It will come down Steve after some twisting and working it some, 24 is too high in the front if you want to keep the stock CVs happy. If you haven't had an alignment that will drop the front down as well some.

And Boiler...........ya know I like to mess with ya!
and Brian Hassel is waiting on you to get ahold of him.
