Those first Google directions are F'd up!

I guarantee you it would be faster (on Sunday morning) to take I-90 to the Kennedy thru the circle to the Dan Ryan south to I-55 to Lake Shore Drive.

And fwiw, don't ever take the directions from google maps or my directions (in this post) during the week. We could both leave your place - you taking either of these directions and I could take the directions I first suggested and I will beat you there! Matter of fact, I'd get a 30 - 45 minute nap in waiting for you at Mccormick Place.

But if it won't be a problem for us all to make sure we're together in the lot and during the run from there to the Marine base, then it won't matter what route any of us take.

Like you said, we can discuss this next Saturday.

any body have an extra CB that I could borrow for the event, not gonna have the funding to get one before hand, or is it not that critical?

We plan to be there, granted I know Danette isn't going to want to get up that early, just not sure how to decorate the KK, I would like to do something with the top open if the weather permits, but I'm just not creative enough, any ideas (budget friendly, as in there really isn't money budgeted for this because there is none available)

As generous as Vicki is :D Jerry will pass on the donut. He'll grab a breakfast buritto or two before jumping on the highway.

Maybe we can do lunch somewhere? Fwiw, I don't do Mickey D's. (insert barf smiley here). I'll pee there, I just won't eat there.

OK...I'll skip on the donut :P

Not sure of any places in the immediate neighborhood of the USMC center. If we are all going to be heading back to the Kennedy (I-90) which is west of there - there's a good restaurant on the corner of Foster, Milwaukee and Central Aves. It's called the Blue Angel - they've got a good, varied menu and plenty of parking.

I've got a handheld CB you could borrow. It works well over short distances.

BUMP (again)

I'm getting a good response from folks at work. There are several co-workers who are committed to "Fill the Jeep!!!"

I didn't bother to ask since four of my co-workers ride in the motorcycle T4T run. In the past, I've given to them like most of the other people do.

I still need to get over to the toy store.

If you feel it's really necessary?

Btw; for all concerned, vehicle head counts aren't necessary for a event of this type.

I only ask because it was suggested...

I think the head count is okay... it helps us know how many we need to wait for when we all meet outside of the staging parking lot.

Yeah, I wasn't referring to vehicle counts as much as I was passengers. (ie; member +1)

Going shopping tomorrow Saturday.

I bought a power inverter on Amazon. It should be here this coming Monday. Let there be lights!

I'm ready.

I was surprised to find a package at my front door when I got home last night. It was the power inverter I ordered on Amazon.
