Greetings fellow IL'ers,

Figure to throw up a thread where we can share locations of nice light shows or Christmas decorations in the Chicagoland area.

Last year we went to Winter Wonderland in Vernon hills and loved it! There's a entrance fee, so make sure to check with the website for pricing and hours.

There's a home owner in Des Plaines who does a Winter Music Lightshow, you can tune in on the radio, very nice home owner. I'm going to see if he does it again this year.

Cheers!

Mooseheart in North Aurora has a large light display you drive through

There's another one in Aurora, but I'm drawing a blank on it atm...

Went to Winter Wonderland last night. Lots of cars! We waited about 45min to get to the entrance. They did an awesome job this year again.

Went by that one house in Des Plaines, with the music lightshow.

Here's link to the location of the house. http://g.co/maps/t9grm

Believe he runs it until 10PM on weekends and 9PM on weekdays. I was able to speak with him when we went the other day, he has a lot more lights this year and plans to go bigger and bigger, very cool to see and free!

Don't forget to tune in to the radio station. He has a posted sign outside, indicating which station.
