For sale 2006 Jeep Liberty CRD diesel, includes a 3 book set of factory manuals and a Haynes gasser manual, it will also include a full set of timing tools, new tires, several filters, reworked head, lift pump - not yet installed 140,000 miles, $3700 Near L'erable, Illinois 60927 As far as I can guess it needs rockers. The engine was torn apart by a dealership. The mechanic? could not make a diagnosis. He thinks it had a stuck valve but didn't know for sure. I will have all the special tools you might need to do the timing job included in the selling price. The local yard quoted a price of $3500 for a complete engine. There was an offer of about $8000 for trade in the day before the Jeep had issues. The Liberty is in very good condition and has new tires. The head is at a machine shop. It will need a new exhaust cam, head gasket, lift pump wiring harness, Green Tune, injector seals, rockers, lifters, EGR clean up and other misc. Should be picking it up very soon. The price will go up when I order the rest of the parts |
