Im having withdrawals is the problem. I picked her up on Friday oct 18th and hit the road for work on monday the 21st. Drove from Beloit Wi out to Byron Center Mi to trade in my golf gti and pick her up. the 4 hour drive back was uneventful. It drives really well no obvious issues besides needs a thermostat which is waiting for me when i get home this Sunday (fingers crossed). Also waiting for me is my GDE tuner. Gonna check and be sure the tb has been done and i want to take care of some other reliability/ maintenance stuff before i have too much fun on goodies.

Very glad to have a diesel again. I am a large engine mechanic by trade (ships and power plants) and have always had the diesel bug. ill have to dig up some pictures of my rabbit diesel that i had....

But yeah. I love my CRD. :-)r

Wow, guess the 2.8 will be a piece of cake.

I've got my CRD apart right now. Finally home after spending 5 of the last 6 weeks on the road. Hoping to get it back together over the next two weeks.
