Okay....is there a better size for larger tires to go offroading?

I see most larger tires go with a 17" but less sidewall. A 15" gives a bigger sidewall and just makes the tire look so much bigger.

Any affect on braking, fuel economy, power?

I choose "other",why is it depends on the total hieght of the tires you are running and the type of offroading you plan to do.If your going to 33"-35" tires for rocks go with a 15" rim,36"-37" tires go to 17" rims since you have plenty of height it's better to have a bigger rim so it's not a mushy ride, and for those big tires(39"+) a 17" or 20" rim is best and most 44"+ tires only come made for 20" rims.

For 16" rims it makes it complicated to figure your tire size since all will be metric, anything under 30" tire I would stay away from a 16" rim and go with a 14" rim,31"-35"(245/75-315/75) are great choices for a 16" rim.

It really depends on how much you want to spend on rims and tires since 15" rims/tires will be cheaper then any other size.

I went for 15. I figure they are cheaper and there are tons of them to choose from. Larger sidewall gives better bite when aired down. Since most guys on here only run up to a 32" tire, I figure anything over a 16 is not needed and since 16s are not as common as others and can cost more, I went 15. :D
