Any clicking or noises going on with the powertrax in the turns on pavement.

Yeah, clicking, but that's normal, right?

It's not too bad. Even when you turn down the music.

Cool. I was hoping it wasn't too loud. With my loud tires, muffler and stereo I hope it is drowned out.

Still waiting for the DTT to get here, but I went ahead and installed the Powertrax by myself this morning. Took all of 3 hours. Everything seems to be working great, but I will give it a full test tomorrow out on the trails and will report back. :D

The rear locker is awesome. Neal, me and another member of the Hills Angels ran Hunter Lake Trail today and I was able to leave it in 2wd for like 99% of the trail with the new locker in place. The 1% I had the Jeep in 4wd was only for one obstacle that I ended up not needing it on anyway. Everything worked flawlessly and no complaints so far.

Cool.

It looks like I won't have a chance to go out and really test mine until after I return from vacation. Which reminds me, I'm using your directions to Fallon.

Glad to hear it works like it should.

Well, some of you may have noticed my SFA thread and how I decided to go all out with the KJ but now I have changed my mind on the KJ all together and will be selling it in a year and a half.

So, the reason I am posting this is because I am going to sell the DTT, I don't wanna put any more $$ into the KJ when I really want an LJ. I figure I can sell the DTT and put it towards the LJ Jeep Fund.

I took my KJ out to Moon Rocks this morning because I just needed to get out, and I got to REALLY test the rear Powertrax. That thing is awesome. There were like 4 obstacles I couldn't even get going on before with 4wd and open diffs and some of them I did in 2wd with the locker. HUGE DIFFERENCE!

There is someone on here I am talking to about selling the DTT and I am waiting to hear back, but if he ends up not wanting it, I will post it in the for sale section if anyone is interested.

I highly recommend the Powertrax locker. It is amazingly easy to install and works exactly the way you would want it to off road.

It gets Image Image
