Post subject:  Tire Noise from Brushed Concrete Pavement

Even though I have a CRD with a Magnaflow Cat back 2 1/2" system, when I get up to 65MPH all I hear is loud tire/road noise. I still have the stock Goodyear Wranglers and I run 40PSI in the tires due to the extra weight of the CRD engine. If the Brush Strokes run across the pavement from side to side tire/road noise is so loud I can't hear my Wife talk, the engine run, and have to turn up the radio to hear it. Go to another section of road where the Brush Strokes go the direction of travel and the noise drops to an acceptable level.
On Black Top the tire/road noise is also acceptable.
Any ideas to reduce the tire/road noise when driving on these concrete roads that have the brush strokes going cross wise?
