I do both, unless I am being a CRD Junkie, that it is right to "CRD love that torque"

I always have done the "look at em all" path, but lately I've had people "discover" my threads and was kind of suprised. Just doing a little research.

If I am out at the index page I will use method #2, but when I open up my browser I have it configured to open four tabs, and the url for the first tab is
Code:
http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/search.php?search_id=newposts
, that way it automatically brings up the list of posts since my last visit. Then as mentioned browse the list to see what is going on.

Actually I think in most of the forum styles it is a text link at the top of the index list or up toward the top of the page (on the XP style maybe?). But yeah there is a link that will parse out all of the posts made since the last time you visited the site. Much easier for me than trying to scan the index page.

"view posts since your last visit"

But please, powers that be. Add an active topics link. Usually said link will show posts in the last 24-48 hours. Please, please, please.

That or allow us the ability to search posts via date range.

Yeah i'd love a "today's posts" link too...sometimes the new posts since your last visit sucks because my net crashes before I've looked through them, but it checks it off as a visit. The next time I come they are all gone and I have to wait a few days to get a good quantity of reading material generated again.

I always use the "View post since last visit" link on all forums I visit - I usually just bookmark that page.
