So many of us have had the pleasure of crawling under the front of our KJ and replacing the front drive shaft, If you check other than please explain.

Replaced mine at 44k because of a stick. Now I have a Tom Woods, no more stick problems

I had to put replaced with aftermarket for obvious reasons(SFA swap) but when my KJ still was IFS I had zero issues with the OEM front driveshaft. When I blew a front CV joint(not the driveshaft) I removed the front driveshaft(along with the whole front drivetrain) and sold the driveshaft to someone in Canada, both boots looked brand new with 50,000+ miles on them and some pretty hard wheeling, used only water to keep them clean also.

60K or so mine was replaced by dealer with new OEM driveshaft under 7/70 warranty. Rear boot has ripped or cracked open.

Mine, too. No option in the poll for "replaced by new." My boot had clearly been damaged by off-roading, but they replaced it under warranty with a new, not reman., shaft.

I replaced mine with an OEM shaft at about 98k. Thats with a decent amount of beach driving and off-roading in some yummy sticky mud. :D

I replaced mine about an hour ago with one from Auto Unlimited on rockauto.com, I don't know if it's new or reman...but at least will work and it wasn't that crazy expensive like on the stealership!!! with shipping all the way to Mexico it was only $300 vs the $600 they wanted to charge me here... like I said, crazy prices here!! I'll give it a try offroad next weekend, hope everything goes smooth!!

forgot to say, my kj has about 80k miles, like 131,000 kilometers...
