I have a chance to get the model of car I dreamt of owning since I was a kid. It is not a particular car like say a 1968 Chevy Camaro. It is a recent model but still sold to this day but modernized (kinda like saying, a 2011 Chevy Camaro). No, it is not a Camaro.

Would you trade in your Liberty for it and accept a car payment even though your Liberty is paid off?

I voted no because I'd have both....Liberty and a new '79 black Trans Am with gold bird on the hood, recently discovered stored in minty new condition, and left to me by a long lost relative. That's my dream car...

Enough of the cloak and dagger. Just tell us what car you want. Did Ford finally re-release the Pinto? :D

Would I? Sure if you can afford it and always dreamed of owning one why not.
KJs are a dime a dozen, trade mine in a heart beat if the right thing came along and I really wanted it.

And if Chris ( Steuber) that owns ujointoffroad would throw his van up for sale the KJ would be history, in the meantime I wait :ROTFL:

I just traded the Liberty for a V8 Commander.

I would only trade the Commander for a Charger or Challenger SRT8. Assuming I would have my payments about the same.

I have a 1968 Camaro now 327 powerglide all orginal convertable car. And i love the way it rides and have driven a 1967 before and loved the 427's power though you dont pay to much attention to the ride when you have your foot buried in the pedal. And i completely forgot about the HD defender 4 door truck style diesel of course that would more then work for me to.

That looks like the ultimate stalker ride. All you need is "free candy" painted on the side!

Saw a lifted 4x4 newer Ford van just the other night here in Cincy, had too small highway tires on it and they dropped the aluminum running boards and added fillers, must have been dropped 12" at least. Looked stupid as it was, but could've been modded correctly. I always wanted an older lifted Chevy 4x4 fullsize van.

When I was a kid, I dreamed about Porsche, Ferrari and Lambourghini...
No way I trade my "Spud" for such crap... 8) 8) 8)
Maybe a Lambourghini LM 5000 or what it´s called... But no...
Image

Now I want to trade it for a JK Unlimited Rubicon, but I did not dream about a Jeep back then...

Those were my thoughts exactly. There would be no needto trade in.

However, that doesn't mean I would still own the KJ either. If I had the money to own my dream vehicle, I'd probably own a decked out JK as well.

Guess a lot depends on what you call a " dream car" as well
My dreams are more practical than most it seems?
But then maybe my dreams also will come true since I don't dream of million dollar cars that are unobtainable to almost everyone in the world.
A car that will run 200 plus MPH is fun to see but again not practical to anyone except for bragging rights.
A few of my real dream cars over the years
55 Chev ( 2 different ones 2 door and a convert)
57 Chev
40 Ford coupe
32 Ford coupe chopped/channeled/big block
49 Ford
66 Stingray w/427 -4 speed
70 AAR Cuda with 340 6 pack,4 spd 1 of 1120 produced
77 Dodge van 4 wheel drive on 40s
Owned them all and still "dream " about having a few of them back
