I bought five BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires and five Cragar 352 Series Black Street Lock "D" Window rims. I have not mounted my tires yet since I am waiting on my rims to be made. My question is, should I display the white or the black letters on my tires? I hate the white letter look on cars. However, I am indifferent on the letter color on trucks and SUVs.

I am going for that murdered out look. However, as stupid as it may sound, I dropped a lot of dough on these tires and want people to know what they are. What is your opinion on what color letters to display? What color did you display on your tires? Thanks in advance for the feedback!

They are BFG A/T's. Anyone that knows what 4LO does knows the KO's.

BFG's are one of the only tires that I think look good with White letters out. Otherwise, blackwalls...

The white on the letters will be gone or at least partially scraped off after the first trip offroad so why bother?

Sounds like you have your mind made up,
you want to make sure everyone knows what you bought and how much you spent
so its white letters out

even though I voted BLACK! :JEEPIN:

FYI - I have never gone off road in my KJ before and don't plan on doing so anytime soon.

I was waiting to mount my BFG's when my Cragars came in but I couldn't wait any longer for them to be made since bald tires on Winter roads is not a good combination. Thus, I mounted my BFG's on my stock rims until my Cragars come in. I had them install my tires with the white letters showing. I think the white letters compliment the silver rims quit well. However, I think I might reverse them when I mount them on my Cragars since I think it would better compliment the black rim...

IMHO...black sidewalls and letters on black wheels make the tires and wheels look like one and thus the tires "disappear". When white letters are on black wheel it breaks up all the black and makes them stand out a little. I personally like the raised white letter on a truck for the look it provides when the wheels are black...not so much on the silver wheels. But in the end it is truly up to you and what you like... :JEEPIN:

White letters on my stock wheels and the Grand next to me, I did not really like that much.

On the other hand, White letters on Black wheels I do like...

I agree that the tires and wheels get kinda lost when you don't have white letters out. That's why I'm doing white letters on my Renegade. If they start to get screwed up I'll just put the passenger side tires on the driver side and vice versa so you can't see them anymore.

I think the rule is that if you go with white letters than you've gotta go with a mullet, too.

I don't think it's too much of an issue as my are usually muddy so you can't tell either way.
