So what do you think? I was thinking about this today, driving in town. Thought I would post a poll about it to see what people thought. When I see these elaboratly modded Jeeps, I think "That's too nice to wheel!"

yea! sometimes jeeps, or even other vehicles are just too nie to ruin :P

for example, a guy in my RR club had a new RR with strut wear stuff on it and he wanted to lift it and wheel it, little did he know that a branch wacking his strut wear grill would ruin it

Not sure what you're on about Knightrider03m, but I'm talking like if it's too pretty. But why wheel a Lincoln Navigator? It's like driving a Mustang during winter, pointless.

Yeah cause they're not meant for wheeling. I wouldnt wheel something like that plus they're expensive to repair

I am surprised to see you say Range Rovers are a joke considering your such a "BIG" Top Gear fan. Didn't Jerry Clarkson wheel one of those to the top of a very tall mountain in Scottland? If he can do that and admittidly knows nothing about off-roading, pretty sure the RR can hold its own.

All I can say is DERP

I'm pretty sure the Range Rovers have one of the best 4wheel drive systems on the planet...Our family has owned 3 Land Rovers, and they were great vehicles. And yes, expensive to repair because we didnt buy the extended warranty. Don't speak of some thing you don't know next time  Cause one of the original Land Rovers was built off a jeep chassis and modeled after a WW2 jeep. And i think Land Rovers are used in Africa for the military there...just like saying a Hummer is not a real 4x4 vehicle when darn well you know it is. Jus sayin' :2cents:

Thoughts on keeping an "off-road" vehicle on the road...
If you aren't going to use it, why have it.

If you haven't tried it, when the time comes... will you be ready for the challenge?

If its got the clearance, keep driving. (I took my first Nissan and my Mazda deep into the woods, both of which were passenger vehicles) :ALONE:

I just found this and :ROTFL:
Jeeps that are "too nice" to wheel
Range Rovers should never be wheeled :ROTFL:
all too funny
Now I do have to agree that there are some "that should never be wheeled"
but its due to how they were built ( very poorly) rather than never should be

What gets me is there are some people out there who are worried about scratching up their Jeep, even if they're out trail riding. Took a guy with a '09 stock JK like that on a trail ride. He constantly kept asking, "I won't scratch my Jeep, will I?" I justed wanted to take my key and put a nice scratch down the side of it and say, "Happy now?" It's a Jeep, c'mon!
