Hi guys. Love my KJ, I just think it's too small for me sometimes. I'm 6'4". How many other people here are tall and drive KJs every day? Might make me feel better... |

I've been excluded from the poll! 6'9" tall (used to be 6'10" but back surgeries have taken an inch out over time). I really like driving the KJ every day. There is one, and ONLY one, seat position that works for me - all the way back and quite a bit reclined, but my back is comfortable - so I got lucky. I hardly fit into anything, so I'm quite happy to have at least minimal clearance for my knees and head Compared to my old, full size pickup truck, it does feel like a small cock pit in the Jeep, but it's snug and comfy! |

I think I'm just really lucky that my upper torso vs. lower torso fit just right! With SO many things that I don't fit into, I am just very grateful to find anything comfortable at all. And, having a diesel is a dream come true for me! |

I'm 6' 4" and the main reason I bought my KJ initially was because I fit comfortably in both the front AND back seats. Not so with the GC--I've always felt cramped in them. And forget about the "cute utes". |

I was at a car and truck show last weekend, and that's the one thing I noted about just about every other SUV. Even much bigger ones looked more cramped inside than the KJ. The H3 definately looked a lot smaller inside. |

I think if the transmission hump didn't extend into the feet area so much it would be better. My right foot is constantly at an angle..it's impossible to put my right foot flat on the floorboard. That I guess is mainly what annoys me. Well that and my toes keep hitting the plastic shroud above the brake/accel pedals. |

6' here. All good in my seats (heated, powered, leather). Plenty of headroom. Never had any complains from backseat passengers (shrug), other than screams of terror. |

6' here... My issue is that the KJ is a little too narrow. With the door closed, I can not put my left hand in the map pocket or get inbetween the door armrest and the steering wheel. Other than that, I have 0 complaints. |

This is another reason why a TJ was completely out of the question - even narrower than the KJ. FYI - I just put a vote in the tallest category. Add about 50 years to me and I'll probably shrink 3 inches anyway. |

It definitely depends on what you drove before the KJ. I came out of a VW Jetta, so the width is great with me. But when I drive my Mom's Chevy Venture and then climb back in the KJ, it's definitely cozy. Supposed to be though...gotta get down those little skinny trails, right? I will, however, say, if you sit me in the back seat and tell me to get my drink out of the cup-holder....then I'll start complaining about the width of the truck! Ha! What were they thinking? Anyone ever try sitting back there and retreiving a drink? You have to take yoga classes first! If I had to sit in the back seat, I'd put my drink on the opposite door. It'd probably be a more confortable reach. Or sit in the middle and use both of them! Ha! The only thing I currently use the rear cupholder for is when I'm getting into the truck in the morning. I open the rear driver's side door and set my insulated travel mug in the cupholder while I pile my laptop backpack and workout bag into the rear floorboard. Then I grab my drink again and head to the front. It's actually positioned quite nicely for this. |

You should add lower heights....and possibly taller heights to the poll. |

5'11 here and I love the set-up. I keep my seat forward just alittle and down all the way. |

6'4" here. In my 05 limited (automatic), the seat is comfortable enough, although my left foot doesn't have any wandering room to strech. My BIG problem is the blind spot of the rear view mirror: I don't have a good view of the 2 o'clock angle looking forward. The seat's too high and the rearview is too low. I always have to duck to see under the rearview at intersections. Adjusting the rearview's mount to it's most upright position helps a lot, but I wish the mount bar was longer so it would position the mirror higher. That's really my only complaint and I've gotten used to it. In my past cars, I could recline a bit more to get under the blind spot, but that isn't as comfortable in the KJ. I haven't tried sleeping in the back, I'm sure I wouldn't enjoy it too much. Kev |

6'8" me 6'1" wife 39" 23 month old daughter (that's average for a 4 year old) there are only 4 reasons I bought a Liberty I fit comfortably. The seat sit high like a truck. It has real offroad capability. And the CRD, need I say more. I only fit in a few vehicles so my choices are very limited. I just wish it had a solid axle, more cargo room and looked more manly. |
