I've owned my 04 Liberty for only six months now and it has about 43,000 kms on it. Its a nice comfortable vehicle however I'm beginning to be concerned about the O2 sensors. Two different ones have failed so far. Luckily they were covered by the drivetrain warranty but what's going on? Is it a common problem for a Liberty of this year and kmage?

Also just how many O2 sensors are there on a Liberty 3.7L gas engine?

Most newer vehicles have two O2 sensors per exhaust manifold (1 upper and 1 lower). So your V6 Liberty should have 4. Don't feel left out, a coworker just had to replace both upper O2 sensors in his Dakota.
