Just started getting this under hood noise, happens when after starting with A/C on I put it in Drive or Reverse, like a gear grinding type of noise ! Goes away as acelerating. If I'm in the driveway and put it in drive with the A/C on and it happens and I turn off the A/C it stops put on the A/C clutch engages on A/C it starts again. Just put on a new belt about 3 weeks ago. Pulling on belt tensioner seems like stuck but works fine after pulling a few times. Was at dealer today, of course by the time I got there it wasn't doing it! Joe

Turned out it was the Belt Tensioner, got a new one under warranty. Joe
