I just bought a 02 Liberty Limited and was wondering if there is still a warranty on it. I've heard that they come with 100k mile warranties, then heard 80k mile. My Liberty has 89k miles on it. Maybe someone could help me clear this up. Thanks. |

Mine was 1st year CRD so it had 36,000 full coverage - 75,000 driveline - I purchased 100,000 - because I was nervous about 1st year anything. From what I've read - I think 36,000 is normal unless the original purchaser bought an extended warranty and you're limited to about 30 days from the purchase date to transfer that. |

If you bougtht it from a dealership you should have at least a 30 day warranty (Lemon Law) But if you bought it from a individual, I would check with the local Jeep dealer but I wouldn't hold my breath unless it's a recall situation. |

i bought it from a private party and the guy who i bought it from was selling it for his grandson who lived elsewhere so he didnt really know if it had any warranty. i guess ill have to contact to dealership. Thanks for the input everyone. |

Go to your local Jeep dealership with the VIN. They should be able to look it up for you. My dealership has told me I have an extended warraanty but for some odd reason won't (or can't) provide me with printed document. As long as they keep making repairs for free I'm happy. Just last week they replaced an O2 sensor under warranty (and I'm the one who tore it off on a trail  )
