Any info on what mods can or can't be done to the suspension without messing up the warranty. We really want to do something, a lift to be exact, but I understand thats a no-no, so what can we do to the suspension to get some more clearance and keep legal with a brand new 2006 warranty? :? Thanks!

Check with no less than 3 unrelated Jeep dealerships in your area. Most will allow under 3" of lift without taking away your warranty. Also, only parts that might get affected by the lift would COULD fall out of warranty. They can't take away warranty on, for example headlights or muffler.

Nice, thanks, I'll go take a trip around the area dealerships, maybe even give Chrysler a call. Good info though, thanks again.

My guess is a dealership that I didn't buy from.....because the one I did buy may respond negatively......they already have actually, when I asked for the "28D" package the sales guy said "Why, what are you gonna do with it, drive around on trails and mountains or something" and laughed and smirked...he was being sarcastic, and I said "Actually yeah" and he said "Well I'll keep that in mind when you bring it in with a funny noise underneath" and I said"Well thats why I asked for the 28D because it has skids and everything" and he just sat there for a second and said "Ok then, lets get you on your way then" and back to business.....cut the chit chat and GIMME MY JEEP!!!!!

No, related dealerships are owned by the same company. Lithia Chrysler/Jeep is a big national dealership. In Colorado, we have a lot of John Elway dealerships.

Chances are, they may have the same rules about this and that. Visit dealers that don't look like they are owned by the same people.
