the best strippers have removable teeth :ROTFL:

screw it, pay him in pennies :pepper:

If I would of wanted another belly button vehicle I would of bought one. Since the KJ is such a sensored word Jeep I figured it fit my personality best. Tom's said it best as far as saving and doing a lil at a time. I for one hate my tires even though their great tires but I think my KJ looks like a fat lady on roller skates with them small tires but since I bought them before I did the lift, they'll stay until their done. Then it's tire upgrade time. The only thing I have going for me is I paid cash for my KJ and don't have a vehicle payment but have other life payments that have snuck in that won't allow me to just spend away on it. Once I get where I am comfortable, play time WILL begin and as my plans unfold I should be able to start setting some money aside for play hopefully by next fall or winter. :pepper: Then again there's the long task of getting parts gathered and watching them pile up as I get them all into place for one heck of a wrench session. :JEEPIN:
edit: sensored word I think should read b-a-s-t-a-r-d :jester:

I am not saying that either of you have not earned every part on your jeep the hard way. I just get frustrated because i spend all i can afford on my jeep and all i get is how much more it needs spent on it to be a "real" jeep. It is my first jeep and it is much more "real" than the 93' buick le saber i traded in on it! :ROTFL:

Heck everyone gets frustrated and wants to do more, no matter if its to their ride or to their house. I've spent enough traveling to see my wife over the last few years that mine could look like TJKJs . BUT its more important to go see her than have what I want. Getting ready to drop another 8-10,000 on paperwork and travel to hopefully get her and my step son back over here. So yes frustrated that the Immigration and Airlines will have that money that I could do a lot of awesome upgrades with.
But its all about priorities. What you have to do everyday to keep going. Then every evening looking to see how much you have to stash back for some mods.
By the way it says Jeep on the hood right? Well then its a real Jeep. end of story  :ROTFL:

Sorta like the hardware the girls have on their teeth. I love it when they smile but it also reminds of the many many mods I could have done. I even asked the orthodontist if their braces could spell Jeep :ROTFL:

Oh thats right your not supposed to use chains anymore ( old school ) gotta use snatch and tow straps. Will we have to change the terminology to " pullin your strap "?

I DONT THINK SO :-)r

I resemble that remark! But its only happened when pulling out small trees, shrubs, fence posts etc. when the chain slipped off. I mostly used it when I cut firewood to pull logs out where they were easier to cut. It was my dads and has been in use since around 1955, I have used it to pull my boys out of the ditch a few times though. Lol

hey i have a log chain in the back of my jeep that was my grandpa's and i dont have a tow strap or recovery point even :P (high on my list to change) I know how much safer tow straps are but there is something about getting out a chain that my grandpa used to use. I used to use in on the truck to haul logs and stones out of the river.

+1 on using anything that was handed down through time :pepper:
Straps take all the fun out of everything, sorta like seat belts and safety glass :ROTFL:
