Swing? It's fly fishing, not golf.

No, I really don't know what you mean? But it's called a "cast", or "casting".

There are varying styles of casting in fly fishing. For example. the presentation of my cast with 0-2 wt line for Brookies in a small trout stream is not the same as my cast / presentation for Rainbow or Big Brown's with 4-6 wt in a fast current river. Nor is my cast / presentation on 8-10 wt for Bonefish in salt water flats the same. People will take a lesson on basic fly casting, then go out and wonder why they're not catching fish. Unlike bait / spinner casts, there is a true art to presenting the fly to various species, in various types of water.

But I digress since this is not a fly fishing forum, I'll just say no fly fisher I've ever known would suggestion my sig was annoying. Of course, it is simply a animated .gif and not a instructional casting video.

i was kind of joking. i'd be interested in hearing the differences....currently the only ones in my arsenal are "11-2 wrist motion while stripping to get it as far away as i can" and a poor roll cast. shoot me a pm
