Pre-run complete!! This trail may have potential as both a stocker and modified run combined. Here are a few pics....

Snow at the begining of the trail....

This is why you don't drive a stinky diesel, I'll let Roland explain....

Another great prerun for Tor J and in the great area of Kingman, AZ!
Beautiful scenery, a great trail probly rating at 2.7 (5 scale), and a full days worth of riding. The visit to a huge old mine along the way was a nice touch.
This is my first time in the Kingman area and these areas are a local's guarded secret. There was even a BLM campsite with a group site at the begining of the trail and it was beautiful and may be considered as a home base for T or J.

Miss these preruns and miss out on why you bought your Jeep in the first place! I had lots of fun!

BTW my cooling on the CRD was running way too cool. Seems there is a problem with the CRD thermostat opening too early as the miles are added. I figgured I was running about 170 degrees and I need to be at 185 or so for max efficiency. The exhaust was smelling real rich (yuck). So off went the grill and I stuffed a thick towell to shore up the coolant temp and guess what- It did not work- still ran too cool!!. Its a Jeep Diesel thing and some may not understand.

Roland
