A long time ago, someone mentioned driving on some highway refered to the dragon's back, or something like that. Can someone tell me where this is? I am just curious.

My wife is planning on driving to her mom's house this christmas, and I get to plan the route.

I am SO going to have fun with this. So far I have the trip planned through Columbus OH, to see a buddy of mine from the Marines, then I don't know, but I suppose eventually we need to get to Raliegh NC.

PS, Brazil did not work, It took way too long. Google maps is so fun to plan these things on. You can go anywhere! (Almost)

Nevermind, I would have to go to Tennessee first, That would ruin it.
I would want to stay. Maybe Jack Daniels would adopt me. :?

It was "Tail of the Dragon" by the way.
My bad.

No, I wouldn't be speeding through that, I don't have my car anymore.
I just want to do it.
I read an article in some car magazine a while (2-3yrs.) back, it listed this as a must do.
Along with Hwy 108 at Sonora Pass(#13 on the list) . I have done that. In the SRT. and in a UHaul
The UHaul barely made it with a trans. That actually sucked pretty bad. I averaged 10 to 15 mph through most of it. Then it started shakeing pretty badly. So we took a two hour brake, and hiked around a bit.

Anywho, like I said. Cant do it anymore. It would take too long.

Edit: on the www.tailofthedragon.com site, did you read the "Open Letter" from the Gov.
That was pretty cool.
He pretty much told the police that they were doing their job too good.

You can’t go wrong in that part of the world. I love it there. The dragon is fun but the area all around it is just as awesome. I hope to get back again this spring. Motorcycling in the Smokey Mountains never grows old.
