Sorry Tofu, but I had to steal your title.

By The Way, I was talking to the REAL metal heads. The guys, and gals, that have been around, or at least know their roots...

I went to the Obituary Concert this past weekend. I wish I could put up the vids from the concert, but I am having technical difficulties.

The Concert was: Obituary, GoatWh**e, Kirisun, The Berzerker, and Warbringer.

Heres some of the pics though...

Crazy bar stats for the night... They went through 16 cases of PBR.

My ladies for the evening... My wife, and her cousin.

The show was CRAZY, for being such a small venue.

As there are various types of metal, there are various types of metal heads. I enjoy some good ol metal from time to time. Nothing to crazy though, I like Slayer, Pantera, Dimmu Borgir, White Zombie, Mastodon, Danzig, In Flames, and stuff like that. I have been getting into Behemoth lately too. But my favorite band will always be Clutch. See below.

See Obituary....Not so much on the lines of Pantera, Zombie, or even close to Clutch....

More along the lines of Death Metal... One of the 80's Pioneers of the original movement...

Still a great show...

PS: Beer is good.

Never been a big death metal guy, I know who Obituary are, I had a buddy who was a big fan, not my cup o tea. How was Goatwh**e live, I dig them, I've got a burned CD of them laying around somewhere.

I'm more into new-age type metal. With bands such as Sea of Treachery, Knights of The Abyss, The Black Dahlia Murder,, Darkest Hour, etc. I'm also more into hardcore music and such.

But I do enjoy some old school metal every now and then like Slayer, Iron Maiden, and Megadeath.

Can't beat some old Iron Maiden, man.

I used to listen to a band called Cynic all the time, but haven't heard anything out of them in 15+ years. Anyone familiar with Cynic?

Not really metal, but I dig on some Suicidal Tendencies from time to time too.

THey will be here again on Nov 6th. You should drive out, and come! lol.

Kidding, but there is a good number of shows coming up that I will be going to. Tonight is another.

Ventana (Rick Thomas of Mushroom Head)
Helltrash
Gollum

Pics to come tomorrow? Depends on the hangover.

This is the Venue...
