We finished 4th. Thanks everyone for helping as we did very well for a small local charity. But we were not in the money. We don't want to wear out our welcome with our friends so we are going to take a break for a couple of months. Probably in January we will enter back into the contest but this time we will go for the 50,000. It pay's for the top ten spaces.
Thanks again, Gary

I don't know how many votes were cast over all. But All my friends and people on here that I have not met were voting and also had there friends voting. 8) Over all(counting face book) had to be thousands of votes a day to get us up to 4th.We were above charities that have been on Oprah! We had entire high schools voting every day for us. 8)
Again I will be forever Grateful for the help from every one on here. This site has a lot of wonderful caring jeep people!
Gary
ps, if there is ever anything I can do to help anyone of you please let me know!

Sorry to hear you didn't get the money this time, kskj. Let us know when you do it again, so we can all start voting from day one!

Exciting News, Raytheon Aircraft is sponsoring a golf tournament next week and the entire proceeds will go to my granddaughters charity. Nascar Driver Clint Boyer will be playing in it. My son in law has a meeting with Clint the week of the tournament and this could be HUGE for the foundation. Two weeks ago my son in law went to New Orleans for a oncology doctors conference and gave them a check for 100,000 dollars from our foundation.(five years of fund raising) When My Granddaughter was diagnosed with her brain tumor over 5 years ago there was only one paragraph in the medical books on her type of brain cancer. ( she passed away in 2006 at 18 months old)) We hope to make a difference and speed up research in pediatric brain cancer.
Thanks for everyones help,
Gary

The Raytheon Aircraft Golf Tournament( benefit for the kyrie foundation) was a great success. My Daughter was able get the foundations name out to a few thousand of people today. She along with other foundation members were introduced at sand creek station golf course this morning with what she said golf carts were lined up as far as she could see. And that was just the morning round. They got to talk with Clint Boyer several times during the day. He signed a few things and told them if there was ever anything he could do to help with the foundation to let him know. My daughter was riding in the beer cart so she was able to talk to people all day and made some good connections.(for the foundation) By the end of the day Clint came up to my daughter (she said he was pretty wasted) put his arm around her and told her she put on one hell of a party. This was by far the biggest event to date and should help my granddaughters foundation tremendously. And it sounds like everyone had a great time.
