Has anyone else thought the forum could use a little house cleaning? I've found post from 2005 on here. While they were helpful, no one had commented on them in almost 7 yrs.

...and maybe a sticky could be made for what type of lifts can be put on a KJ/KK and what's recommended.

Maybe I'm just ranting and complaining...OR others may agree with me. I don't know...

Just a thought I had tonight browsing the forum. A lot of posts are about the same thing :juggle:

yeah, it's a common problem with the Internetz

same things get rehashed over and over "Wots teh best lift I can gits for 10 dollars"

etc :P

add on the search function doesn't work real great if you don't know egg-zact-ly what you're looking for and ya get a lot of rehash, it happens

not a big deal!

The age of posts are not a problem, it's the person who feels his broken window regulator is somehow special and deserves yet another new thread on the subject. Don't even get me started on the CRD section.

If not using it were people, the search function would be China.

Atleast I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Kind of topic but my Jeep keeps telling me my gascap is not on, yet it is. I have a locking gas cap (from O'Reillys) and have come down to two things:
1. I have broken it "somehow" over the few months I've had it.
2. Someone thought they could get it off without the key and has damaged something.

Right now it isn't beeping and going off. Jayme, yesterday I read somewhere where you had the same problem and now I have it! LOL
Maybe I should just put the OEM one back on and HOPE no one steals my gas again.

some of those gas caps are junk, someone around here bought 3 gas caps before they fixed their issue and i think they ended up getting a cap eventually from the dealer

Some post a question because they are lazy and want someone else to do their work.

I think a pre-requirement would be for new members to read a list of most asked FAQ's and then quiz them on it, BEFORE they can sign up and become a LOST Member.
The FAQ's would be: What lift should I get? OME or RockyRoad ANSWER: OME ...etc...
...I think you get where this is going. :-)r

It might actually help and save space on the threads.
But I'm not sure how it could be done.

Yes, I was a newb once. But atleast I researched, read up on stuff and pm'd the members with senoirity (and more knowledge than I) questions I needed answered. I even grew an extra layer of skin from the TOUGH criticism I received from a few people. :ROTFL:
You can't break me now!
