Time for Toyota to come clean and admit to Bus overload as the cause of their problem. Had they chosen the Fail Safe option, the cars would quit instead of run away and restart with only complaints.

I'm calling Balloon Boy scandal on this one. Listen to the 911 call. The guy is able to focus on calling 911 and talk while driving 30 miles at 90 mph. He never answers the 911 operator when she asked him, twice, if he tried to put it into Neutral. He just says other things.

IIRC, the prius has an interlock that will not allow you to put the vehicle in neutral under power.

*RUMOR ALERT*

James Sikes, the San Diego runaway Toyota Prius driver, filed for bankruptcy in 2008 and now has over $700,000 in debt. According to one anonymous tipster, we're also told he hasn't been making payments on his Prius.

*RUMOR ALERT*

Balloon Boy scammer....claims not going to sue Toyota....well, he got his name in the public eye so a made-for-TV movie script is next.

Just found this:

Once again, sneaky Toyoder is saying they are doing everything to correct the Lexus GX460 issue, and ignoring the more popular 4runner with the same system...
