Guys,
I'm going to design up some LOST stickers and want some feedback - I am a professional graphics guy and have been wanting to work something killer up. In the poll above, I've listed some graphical choices (if you will) on what to include on a sticker. This will be a 1 color design and would like to know the things you all would like to see most included on one sticker. So what "parts" would you like to see incorporated...feel free to list them in your post as well, I just thought I could get the ball rolling with a poll.

for example:

I like to see:

1. some kind of mountain range (like the iconical trail rated badge ones)
2. a stylized KJ - make it simple or make it detailed
3. the jeep's grill as an icon...etc...etc.

I hope you can check multiple items on a poll...if not, just check the top most thing important to you, THEN give me the other things you desire in your post. I was looking for a check multiple items option for the poll, but don't see it. LOL I dont think its possible...dang!! Anyhow, I'll let this go a couple days and then work something up for your guys review and post it up...we can make changes as I go and come up with a real doozy of a sticker.

Yeah I know about him and he has awesome stickers...he is also the producer of the final product (and I may seek his services to make in the end - I have some local sources here too) but I am a graphic designer by trade and would love to throw in my hand at making one...taking nothing away of course from pixeldecals...he is doing a great job and has a great gig going...its just something I'd like to do too. I will take a look at yours...there can never be too many choices can there?? ;)

Nice Euro sticker....however, I'm looking to take this to a whole new level...and maybe as a 3-4 incher...good for fairings and windows alike. I am going to do it in a vector program so resolution won't be an issue...therefore, when all is completed, we can make it any size we desire...but give me your wants for ultimate sizes too.

Just wait and see when this post kicks of....so many different wants....anyway, can you 'freshen up' my Euro design? Show us what you can?

I do not like the font and since it's made with windows paint it's very 'rough'.

For what its worth I'd like the final product to be 4" to 5". 8)

I like the idea of a few more options. Variety is the spice of life as they say. I would like to see LOST on it, a KJ and/or the KJ initials on it. I think circular is more themed like the KJ, but square would be cool too. Just my 2 Cents and good luck with the project.

I don't know if you checked with the admins on this one, but I would before I make some LOST stickers. L.O.S.T. KJs is trademarked and owned by Darby.

The only problem with putting a KJ on it is the 2008 and above Liberty is not a KJ, as you know. Maybe an oval shape for the KJ and a square/rectangle for the KK. Follow the lines of the vehicle.

1. L.O.S.T.
2. KJ or KK
3. KJ grill or KK grill
4. Tire tracks

I would stay away from mountains etc. not everyone has them.

Terry

Loco....that is a hugely valid point and am putting a PM into Darby. I've read that on numerous ocassions in threads and I knew I was missing another piece to the puzzle. Thanks for the heads up...Darby, incoming with questions. All the rest (if its still okay with LOST) keep the suggestions coming. I will be letting it go until Friday, then will post up some roughs. I can handle criticism so be honest (as I know you guys are. ) and if all is okay with Darby and LOST I will do as many as folks need. Pixel...PM incoming too. ;) )

edited to add...I, in no way am trying to make less of the other fantastic LOST stickers that are available...owning a graphic design/multimedia shop, basically affords me to give back a little bit to the forum if I can provide a cool design. Not looking to turn a profit (donations welcome!! LOL ) but I've gained so much valuable knowledge here at the forum that I thought - do a sticker damnit.

Pote,
I've been waiting for someone to do something different with the lost logos! I'm way to picky about jeep stuff. I would like to see a 3" x 5" decal with a kj pic at an angle, as in not a straight on grill shot. and maybe something like lostkjs.com under it or something. But of course the kj has to be lifted and modded! if i had some editing software i'd give you an example but i don't....

KJ's look differnt also. LOST is no longer just about the KJ. Yes, it is where our roots come from, but we are so much more now.

Perhaps just the Jeep grill since that is universal, though we are not just about Jeeps either, but we are mainly Jeep.

Round design with grill and go from there. Nothing wrong at all in having some new ideas. I mean we have different people making rock rails , bumpers, etc for the Liberty so to me this is no different at all. I also agree that should not stick with just the Liberty front.

Good Luck on it

Tom

I like the Grill it's a universal Jeep Look. As for KK or KJ since wee are a growing family keep it a little more generic so as not to prejudice newer models.
As for Mountains if in The Coloradro Utah area it would work but once again shuts out other fine areas and members so something that will work with all our Jeep Universally.
That way nobodys feelings gets hurt and we all remain our disjointed family.

All excellent points guys...just so you know, my intention is to initially post up 3 or 4 designs that you guys can pick apart. You can pick things you like on one, things you don't, change fonts or mix and match any of the elements. then from there, I'll post up a couple second revisions based on your feedback to move towards a design that everyone thinks is kick booty...obviously not everybody may like it...but its hard to please every single person.

As far as logistics, to keep you all in the loop, I've contacted Don at pixeldecals about making them in quantities and he's cool with it. I also have a PM into the staff here about being able to use the LOST letters. More to come...keep the suggestions rolling, I really like what i'm hearing and have some good ideas in the ol think tank!

oops...I totaly didn't think about that...hope you don't mind Darby...me being one of the initiators of LOST Europe...please? :)

And Pote, great you got Don of Pixel in on this! Maybe we can use some of your stuff into the Europe decal. We do want to keep the stars though, they are on our flag...and on our license plates.

Now for the KK / KJ thing...they do not look the same now do they...difficult one.

cool guys...and I would definitely not mind cleaning up the Euro decal you displayed. I will do that as I'm doing these others...just to update, the Staff gave me the go ahead to use LOST in the decal. So from here, I'll let the post go another day and start designing Friday. Hopefully can post up 3 or 4 by the end of that day, so get your requests posted here. I'll try to appease everyone to the best of my abilities. ;)

How about LOST IN cyberSPACE
j/k I like a clean design too. Just an easy-to-identify generic image of the front of a KJ (Make one for KKs too) with some lettering like, just LOST or whatever.
