What do you think?

Mostly because he goes after everybody with a vengance that he even suspects does anything wrong. He gives no quarter. Then he does this. Looks like he has been doing it for a while too. So he feels he is above the law. He is no good as a Governor now. He needs to be gone asap.

Agreed. Some people can go through this, but not someone who has made their reputation by being "unrelenting" against crime.

I think it is public business when the guy was getting paid by the people to do government work and was doing this instead. There are numerous occurences, but some are said to have occured during work time.

Like a famous incident from a few years ago, it isn't so much WHAT he did as WHEN & WHERE he did it, as well WHO he did it with. As a retired government employee, I can assure you that getting caught getting a "mouth hug" in my office would have led to my dismissal. That the "hugger" was a subordinate would have been worse. That she was a prostitute would have been worse, as well. The Gov. prided himself on going after protitution rings when he was A.G.

Although elected, they are still just employees. Setting any moral issues aside, looking at it in this light makes it pretty evident that he needs to go.

That may be true for someone living in Indiana.

However, it is highly important to the people living in NY State, and is most certainly our business when our governer may have committed a felony.

If the allegations are true and if crimes were committed (possibly a felony), than he should resign.

How can he go after other people for committing crimes that he commits himself? Unbelievable!

Hard to fathom how people could see it otherwise.

Makes you wonder how many prostitution rings were paying him off to not go after them, when he was AG. The ones that didn't, he made it loud and clear that he was hammering the prostitution problem. Made him look like an honest, law-abiding, and hardcore AG. Little did people know.

1. It is true for someone living in Indiana. That's why I said it.

2. I wonder if that's what Hillary said to Bill.

There was an attempt to tie the "drug in our water" story to this one ... alluding that the Governor may have been drinking "Love Potion #9". :D

If committing a crime while in office was actually a crime, then that should be enough. Just pardon all the people he prosecuted with his hollier than thou march accross New York before he resigns.

Another Glass House falls with his own stone.

I am glad SPITTER IS GONE.
I did not like him from the start.

After this all came out in the open, we are hearing more and more about other Govnrs doing the same thing.

Now that Patterson took over SPITTER, he too had his recent past come out. These people really think they can do anything and get away with it.

There is some small talk about the new govnr for a possiable leave.

If this happends, RUDY G is gonna take over Albany.
Lets go RUDY. Clean Albany just like you cleaned Manhattan
