What "elements" are most important to you to include on a cool universal L.O.S.T. sticker?
icon of an actual KJ - simple stylization 12%  12%  [ 3 ]
icon of a mountain range 8%  8%  [ 2 ]
jeep grill icon 23%  23%  [ 6 ]
L.O.S.T. has to be on there (of course) 15%  15%  [ 4 ]
the letters "KJ" incorporated in it 4%  4%  [ 1 ]
icon of MTR with big treads included 4%  4%  [ 1 ]
icon of KJ - more detailed graphic 8%  8%  [ 2 ]
make it look like a badge - circular 15%  15%  [ 4 ]
don't make it a circle. I like a square/rectangular sticker 12%  12%  [ 3 ]
other! See my post for descriptions 0%  0%  [ 0 ]

We like this! Now I know I should not try to design anything and leave it to you pro's.... :D

Nice and clean...nonetheless, I'm going to throw a monkey wrench into your thought process when i post up some roughs...I think I have some darn cool options for a sticker...or multiple stickers. Standby, they will post up by the end of today. There's one or two that I love already.

Not that I don't like that one above, but the mountain range and cartoon KJ have been done to death by both third parties and Chrysler on their trail badges. I'm trying to think outside the same ol same ol box. Make no mistake, the above design is great!! I'm thinking a bit more detailed (could pose a problem for sticker Hoping not though) and definitely different...something that is recognizable, yet new and different. same icons of jeep grills and headlights, etc but composed in a way no one has used yet. ;)

Okay guys,
Here are 12 samples to start. Taking into account some of the things you guys requested. Bare in mind, these are ONLY roughs even though they look finished (one of the down sides to designing with computers....most people think they are finished and set in stone, which is not the case)

Remember you guys can make any additional suggestions (I encourage), criticisms, and any element from fonts to images, can be combined, modified, or swapped with any other element. This first round was very fun to do, and look forward to hearing the critiques and suggestions so that we can move to Round 2 which will be closer to the final looks.

When pointing out things, refer to the "sample page" at the top, then refer to the individual letter next to each sticker. Have fun looking at them and let me know your thoughts. Thanks guys, I hope you like some things in this initial phase.

These are great - except ....

The type is too fine to be produced in cut vinyl.

Thicken it up and keep it to a minimum and most of these designs are great!

Excellent...duly noted. I was hoping you would be one of the first to send a note!!! 8) 8) Fonts will be thickened as needed. Thanks Don!!
Would it still be a concern at the actual size...say we went with a 5 or 6 inch sticker? These are showing up here rather small, about 50% or so. Just wondering.

Ya, anything under 14 point is impossible, and under 20 point kinda still sucks, and type thats not bold also sucks.

Samples 3, style D is my favorite.
One suggestion: could you swing the lettering clockwise a tad. I mean, make the L in LOST a bit farther from the headlight.
Those are all cool, though. I'm sure with the diversity of opinions and tastes on this board, you'd be able to sell some of each style.....and then some... 8)

keep em coming...I told Don at pixeldecals I am prepared and have my flame retardant suit zipped on. LOL and yes, I can rotate the text a bit away from the headlight. good suggestion!! 8)

hey guys...are you saying you would like to see those stickers combined in some way or you like those choices as is? remember, these were just first stabs at roughs, so if you like something, but would like to see it changed a bit or if you'd like an element off of another sticker incorporated, then let me know....but hey, if some of you like them as they stand, that's cool too.

Sample 3D Needs tread and it would be better than A-C. Sample 2 A & B need MTR treads, not KO treads. Sample 1 C needs the words "Roll Me Over" upside down.

Very nice! I'd like to see a combo of Don's font design with your #3 D. Then Lostkjs on top, can you add .com?
Then europe at the bottom.

I like the look of 1D because it is almost generic Jeep. However, where it says, "L.O.S.T. / KJS.COM" doesn't really convey the idea that the web address is lostkjs.com. The address could be a little confusing for the uninformed reader. Whatever design you finally go with try to remember that we're not just KJs or Libertys, we're all vehicles. That's the reason I was favoring 1D.
