Things that annoy the average person 9 Things I Hate About Everyone 1. People who point at their wrist while asking for the time.... I know where my watch is pal, where the hell is yours? Do I point at my crotch when I ask where the toilet is? 2. People who are willing to get off their butts to search the entire room for the TV remote because they refuse to walk to the TV and change the channel manually. 3. People who say "Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too." darn right! What good is a cake if you can't eat it? 4. People who say "It's always the last place you look." Of course it is! Why the hell would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do this? Who and where are they? 5. People who say, while watching a film, "Did you see that?" No Loser, I paid $12 to come to the movies and stare at the damned floor. 6. People who ask "Can I ask you a question?".... Didn't really give me a choice there, did ya Sunshine? 7. People who say that something is "new and improved"! Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's improved, then there must have been something before it. 8. People who say, "Life is short." What the hey?? Living is the longest darn thing anyone ever does!! What can you do that's longer? 9. People who ask, while you're waiting for the bus, "Has the bus come yet?" If the bus had come, would I be standing here? |

8. People who say, "Life is short." What the hey?? Living is the longest darn thing anyone ever does!! What can you do that's longer? Answer = Die. or if you are working in your uniform with the company name on it and a name tag on then someone asks you, "Do you work here?" I made the mistake once of entering a Apple store wearing a black Apple logo t-shirt. I'll never do that again. |

I used to do that 20 years ago. I managed a 20 year old restaurant that always had something breaking in it. I was being paid to be a tight stupid, so I spent a lot of time in the hardware store that was half a block away. People always thought that I worked there and since I knew where everything in the store was, and I was tired of telling people that I didn't work there I just answered their questions. It went like this, "Excuse me. Can you tell me where the sprinkler valves are." "Yes. They are on isle 7 about half way down on the right. Second shelf up. You are talking about a station valve and not a stop and waste valve right?" "Yes, I am adding a 5th station to my system so I can water my garden automatically". "Well, you'll find everything you need on the right hand side of isle 7". *Finally notices that my name tag doesn't have the store name on it* "Oh, you don't work here?" "No Sir, but the sprinkler system parts are on the right hand side of isle 7". *Heads towards isle 7 with a confused look on his face* It used to crack me up. I found a dimmer switch for a lady one day and instructed her how to install it. She complimented the store manager on how helpful his guy in the electrical department was  . He came back and saw it was me and just started laughing. He came in to the restaurant a few days later with a fake "Employee of the Month" certificate! Good Times.
