I thought I would try something here - I hope the admin will agree this might be a good idea - Anyway, many forums have a thread such as this, and I was thinking we might enjoy one too. Think of it as a meeting place to socialize with friends belly up to the bar (minus the beer). Having a thread like this saves pages of overwhelming threads in the off-topic forum - So this would be the place to post off-topic comments, idea's or just about anything you want to share with the rest of us. Have something you want to rant, or rave about? Have a thought? Want to just say "good morning". Have some good, or bad news? Share anything you want us to know not related to the KJ or Jeeps in general. Just remember, we all need to keep it respectful and adhere to the rules set by the L.O.S.T. admin.

Enjoy!

Please pour me a tall cold one!!!

Raining cats & dogs today which is a rare occasion here in the desert. We sure need it though. Watching the snow cam up in Big Bear and looks like they have about 8-10" so far today. Looks like it is nearing time for a snow run.

Good times. 8)

Hope everyone is have a good Monday!! :D

It's happy hour!

Well, not really, but...you know....it's 5 o'clock somewhere. :-)

The weather here is NUTS! We gain and lose 30 degrees in a 24 hour period. Wind/rain storms each time a front moves through knock patio furniture all over the place and would tip over my smoker grill if I didn't have it chained to the metal fence. I've lived all around the world and I've seen all kinds of weather...but this place is just plain weird!

I'll have a rum & coke please.

My sister lives in FL. I couldn't do winters down there. Good place for a visit, but I need deciduous trees and at least a few days of the year when the humidity level is somewhere below 80%.

We never get snow here. We get some frozen rain and then the whole town shuts down. Sad really. Our winter "road crew" is two guys in a 1979 Chevette with a couple stolen McDonalds salt shakers. It takes them a while to get all the roadways.

Oh, I got those pepper seeds Terry. THANKS! My wife asked what they heck they were and I told her "they're like sunflower seeds...just put a few in your mouth."

After we got back from the emergency room...

Naw, I wouldn't waste good seeds on a joke like that.

Taaarbender? I think I'll take a gin & ginger ale this time.

Well don't get your hopes up to much. It's currently 52 in Phoenix and we'll be getting JJ's rain later this afternoon/evening, but that's OK because we sure could use it out here. It's supposed to be up around 60 by the weekend, just in time for the next system to push thru...

Barkeep, set me up a large margarita and a Landshark beer please 8)

Margarita/Landshark sounds great and that way this old parrothead can think he's in the Keys

Weather...yesterday it was low to mid 40s and cold wind, then last night about midnight I look at the computer and it says 53 degrees  I thought I messed up and hit some other state! had to go out for a walk just to feel the "warm" weather

Now my wife is complaining, she was used to this crazy midwest weather, it was about 99 or so yesterday where she was in Tanzania along the coast ( Dar-es-Salaam) . She actually said she missed the weather here. ...for a little bit

Oh man am I in trouble. I forgot to take meat out of the freezer today and the wife will be home in another hour.

Too bad this is only a virtual bar because I need a place to hide. Oh well - the next rounds on me.

I agree - the "worse" the weather, the more I want to go take the KJ out in it! So far we've got about 1.5 inches in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago, and the snow's showing no sign of letting up soon :D I'm looking forward to getting out of work and taking the scenic route home
