I had to pull my self up by my boot straps over the years several times while the big CEO or the UAW guy got off easy. It makes me sick to bail out complete idiots at the Banks and the Big Three :!:

Actually that's a horrible letter.

both the K car and Pinto are no longer made.

Had the housing industry not over-inflated house prices to the point of an entire credit collapse the industry of American manufacturing wouldn't be in this situation.

The UAW is making concessions and by 2010 they will be paid less than your favorite foregin car companies. Speaking of them, didn't any of you read that both Japan and Europe are considering injecting money into their Automobile companies as well? The American car companies are not the only ones hurting here...

again, a poor article in my opinion.

I was going to bring that up but thought I better stay quiet this time  You made some good points there and those are the reasons we are where we are today. All of the overseas companies give large sums of money to their car companies every year, thats how they can do what they do in research and making the cheap junk they do.

BUT then everyone wants to blame the unions and car companies!!!!

flame retardant suit on and ready

Might want to recheck your facts, only 2 out of the "big 3" is taking bailout money, one rejected the funds seeking other ways of getting back on track.
